boys & girls club

Project led by Lalo Marquez

The Boys & Girls Club in Ramona Gardens & Estrada Courts hosted an art exhibit showcasing the students' artwork made during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Boys and Girls Club of West San Gabriel Valley and Eastside

This installation is a compilation of images from a COVID inspired project directed by Lalo Marquez in connection with USC Stay Connected. This project was initiated in October 2020 during the height of the pandemic. The idea behind this project was to capture the mindset of our youth from LA County. In this exhibit, the images depict how teens from different parts of the city dealt and navigated quarantined life. Enjoy this show as our youth invite you into their personal space and inner thoughts as they share their words through their images.
